Car
V2 Flood Out 2003
A severe flash flood nearly destroyed our Webb Street building on August 11, 2003. We sustained heavy losses from flood waters which reached over 4 feet high.
Most of our inventory and equipment was ruined. We were able to save very
little..
Prior
to the flood we were in the midst of planning for relocation
to a new and larger facility. The flood situation has now accelerated those plans to needs. Unfortunately, we will not be opening under the
ideal conditions and circumstances that we had anticipated. We have
suffered total losses of our shop cars, the Mazda RX-7 and the
Mitsubishi GSX. Much hard work went into these vehicles and I'm sure
most can appreciate what was lost. The "About"
page has some very good pictures of the 2 cars and of our facility.
We also sustained crippling losses on much of our on hand inventory
along with most of our office, retail, and shop equipment.
Our
Webb Street facility is currently out of operation and is
need of renovation. We'll most likely it will be like this for the
next several weeks. Please
be patient. We will have much more to offer at the new location for Car V2.
We hope you
all understand.
We would like to give "Props" to all of our friends and loyal
customers who assisted us in our time of need. We greatly appreciate the assistance and won't forget your help.
Below are
some pictures of some of the damage we sustained.
UPDATE:
We have since recovered and moved into a new location. This is a reminder
for us on where we came from.
